CCTV released after potential 'mistaken ID' Melbourne shooting
New CCTV has been released as police investigate a shooting in Melbourne last year.
A 50-year-old Altony North man left his property on Fourth Avenue just before 7.40pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
A gold Mitsubishi Pajero four-wheel drive was seen on CCTV driving towards the man, and pulls up nearby.

Several shots are fired, and the man hides behind a nearby car.
It's believed one of the bullets grazed his hand.
Footage then shows another man chasing the 50-year-old along the street before shooting him in the arm.

The gunman gets back into the Pajero, which drives away.
The 50-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency services were called to a car fire on Gill Street, Reservoir, shortly afterwards at about 8.20pm.

The shooter was in a gold Mitsubishi Pajero, believed to have been stolen. Victoria Police
Investigators believe the burning car was the same Pajero, which is believed to have been stolen from a home in Ferntree Gully on September 29.
At the time of the shooting, it was bearing number plates stolen in Berwick on October 10.
Detectives are treating the shooting as targeted, however believe it may be a case of mistaken identity.
