CBS to buy Network Ten
American television network CBS has announced that it will purchase the Ten Network.
Receivers PPB advisory and KordaMentha broke the news in a statement to the New York Stock Exchange this morning.
Network Ten's receiver and Manager Christopher Hill said that the CBA acquisition will help strengthen the network in the Australian media landscape.

"Network Ten has pl;ayed a significant role in Australia's media landscape over many decades, and the sale of the business to CBS will allow the iconic broadcaster to move into a new chapter on a strong and stable footing," said Hill.
