Cat survives house fire after firefighters pull out oxygen mask designed for pets

A lifeless cat pulled from a kitchen fire in a building in New Orleans has been revived with a specially-designed oxygen mask.
Three cats were in the home on Columbus Street when the fire broke out, but two were able to escape without harm, WVUE New Orleans reported.

Crews arriving on the scene reportedly found the third cat lifeless in a hallway and fitted the mask, designed for cats and dogs.
The cat was breathing again within minutes.
“I guess he has eight mor elives,” Doug Carindale from the New Orleans Fire Department said.
The cat has been returned to its owner.
