Car slams into ice-cream shop

A woman has crashed her car into a Cold Rock ice-cream outlet in Melbourne’s south-east.

Emergency services were called to the shop at Wellington Village Shopping Centre, Rowville, about 1.15pm following reports of the smash.

Nine News cameras captured the white vehicle’s bonnet wedged inside the store front, with police tape surrounding the scene.

The woman behind the wheel, aged 54, was treated for shock at the scene, before paramedics took her home.

No one else suffered injuries in the incident.
