Police believe a car fire in Melbourne’s north this morning may have been deliberately lit.
Emergency crews were called to Dundas Street in Thornbury about 1.30am and found the car ablaze.

Authorities are investigating whether the car was the target of a fire bomb, 9NEWS understands.
A neighbouring block of units was evacuated as a precaution.
No injuries were reported.
