Crews extinguish blaze after car bursts into flames in Sydney's west
Emergency crews have attended the scene of a flaming vehicle on a suburban street in Merrylands, in Sydney's west.
The burning vehicle, believed to be a Mazda wagon, erupted into flames on Welsford Street, north of Hilltop Road early this morning.
Crews were call to the scene at around 5am, and worked for 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze, which forced the closure of several local roads.

An investigation has been launched to discover the cause of the fire.
