Car crashes into bedroom wall at Qld home

A Sunshine Coast household was abruptly awoken on Sunday when a car came hurtling through a bedroom wall.

Police say a white sedan lost control and crashed over a garden bed before damaging the wall at the front of the home on Carnarvon Street at Beerwah about 3.20am.

While nobody in the house was injured, the 20-year-old man driving the car suffered facial injuries and a possible broken nose.

He was taken to the Caboolture Hospital for treatment.
