Vintage Rolls-Royce ploughs through home in Sydney's west
A vintage Rolls-Royce has ploughed into a brick home in Sydney's west today when the elderly driver had an apparent sudden lapse of judgement.
The luxury car rolled straight inside a neighbour's house at Holroyd, through the garage and punching through the back wall in a cloud of smoke.

"I heard a tyre sort of screeching like a burnout," Kaustabh Raychaudri told 9News after he saw the car crash into his home.
"It stopped for a couple of seconds and then next minute a big bang."

Mr Raychaudri was working upstairs when he said his elderly neighbour, the car's owner, dropped in.
"All I could see was smoke," Mr Raychaudri said.
"Bricks everywhere."

The 84-year-old owner was seen at the driveway of his unit block, giving way to another car when he appeared to have accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake, neighbours said.
"The car, maybe a couple of scratches, they just knocked out my house instead."
The elderly driver walked away unharmed after him and his wife were treated briefly for shock by paramedics at the scene. 9News
