Candyman Travers Beynon's latest video in fight against A Current Affair

Travers ‘Candyman’ Beynon has continued to wage war against A Current Affair with a new wave of offensive posts on social media including a video of bikini clad women being forced into a cage.

The most recent post on Instagram shows women dragged along in front of a crowd of people, before cutting to footage of A Current Affair journalist Leisa Goddard on a boat.

Beynon made headlines last week after staging a mock execution of Goddard, firing a fake gun and throwing a grenade at a look-a-like standing on a boat near his Gold Coast mansion.

Alongside the latest video, Beynon ranted in defence of his recent actions, which have been slammed by Federal Minister for Women Michaela Cash as misogynistic.

“Seems being a larrikin these days means you’ve got a target on your back - that’s just plain un-Australian,” Beynon said.

“It’s a shame our media still subscribe to the tall poppy syndrome where it’s easier to put people down than it is to have a laugh with them.”

The controversial businessman also defended his social media posts against Goddard.

“At no time has Leisa Goddard ever been threatened either directly or indirectly - she can dish it out under the protection of national TV but can’t seem to take it when the tables are turned on her… Boo hoo Leisa.”

Goddard, a mother of two and an award-winning journalist told the Sunday Mail that Beynon’s treatment of women was unacceptable.

“Women should be, as I am, outraged that he thinks this is funny. He’s calling himself the Minister for Fun. There is nothing funny about violence against women and crude attacks of a sexual nature,” she said.

“People like Mr Beynon court publicity but, when it comes to attention he doesn’t like, you can see from this vendetta how nasty and vile he can be.”

Another recent post from Beynon shows the millionaire, who calls himself Candyman, with a rifle pointed at the camera.

The caption reads, “Found the ACA mole at my party - You're in my sights”.

Beynon, a former AFL player turned tobacco magnate who touts himself as Australia's answer to Hugh Hefner, has had a feud with Ms Goddard and A Current Affair since May this year.

The spat started when the TV program ran a story titled, "The Candyman’s Poisonous Playground" which detailed his ostentatious lifestyle.
