Bushfire settles down in WA's south

The bushfire threat has subsided in Western Australia's Great Southern region where more than 14,000 hectares has been burnt.
Authorities downgraded the alert level to an advice on Tuesday night for the western part of the Shire of Plantagenet and the northern part of the Shire of Denmark.
The Department of Parks and Wildlife says the blaze is contained but there is some light smoke over the area and firefighters are working to mop up the area.

The fire started in bushland in Mount Roe National Park on Friday at 4pm (WST).
It is suspected to have been deliberately lit.
