Budding Brisbane superheroes meet with Thor movie stars
Some young fans in Brisbane have been treated to a visit from real-life superheros, when actors Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston stepped off the set of their new film to visit the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.
The pair has been creating a stir across the city over the past two days, with hundreds of people waiting for a glimpse of the actors, who are in the sunshine state filming Thor: Ragnarok.

Hemsworth and Hiddleston visited more than 80 patients and their families during their visit on Tuesday, even appearing on the hospital’s TV show Juiced TV and surprising one of its stars, Koen Weir, who was acting out a superhero scene when the pair popped by.
“It was really cool that I got to meet a superhero,” Koen said.
“This is going to make all of the kids here really happy.”
The hospital is no stranger to special guests, with Hiddleston’s girlfriend Taylor Swift stopping by when she was in town last month.
