Brittany Higgins announces she is pregnant with first child
Brittany Higgins, who is now living overseas, has announced she is pregnant with her first child.
The former Liberal staffer revealed on social media overnight that she is expecting her first child with her husband David Sharaz.
"Can't wait to meet you! Beyond excited to welcome a new member to our little family," HIggins posted on her Instagram account.

"Your parents are already obsessed with you and you aren't even here yet."
The news comes after the couple married on the Gold Coast in June.
Higgins and Sharaz got engaged on New Year's Eve in 2022, at Cape Byron lighthouse in Byron Bay NSW.
Earlier this year, a Federal Court judge found, on the burden of proof required in a civil trial, that Bruce Lehrmann sexually assaulted Higgins in the Parliament House office of their then-boss Senator Linda Reynolds in March 2019.
Lehrmann has denied that any sexual activity occurred between himself and Higgins, and has appealed the judge's findings against him.
Higgins and her husband have lived in southern France since last December.
