Man allegedly bashed with brick outside Brisbane apartment
A 68-year-old man is in hospital after he woke up to a man inside his apartment in Brisbane this morning.
Police were called to a disturbance at the complex on Kedron Brook Road at Wilston about 6.30am.
9News understands a fight broke out between the two men, which spilled out onto the driveway where the 68-year-old was allegedly repeatedly hit over the head with a brick until he was unconscious.

He was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition.
The alleged offender, a 39-year-old Mitchelton man, was also at the scene and is assisting police.
Police do not believe the two men know each other.
