Brisbane driver allegedly punched in road rage attack
A 30-year-old man has been charged for allegedly punching a 66-year-old Brisbane driver after their vehicles almost collided.
Police claim the attack was sparked after a 30-year-old North Booval man reversed his sedan out of an Adams Street driveway around 2.15pm yesterday, nearly striking a utility travelling along the road.
The 30-year-old man then followed the utility in his sedan to an intersection, only to emerge from his car and confront the 66-year-old driver.
Police allege the 30-year-old then punched the other man repeatedly in the face, resulting in injuries requiring treatment in hospital
The 30-year-old has since been arrested and charged.
He was denied bail and is expected to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
