Four charged after alleged hammer assault and car-ramming in Sydney
Four people have been charged after an alleged assault involving hammers and cars being rammed in Sydney's inner west.
A group of masked men allegedly used hammers to assault a father and son, aged 22 and 54, on Peninsula Drive, Breakfast Point at 6.30pm yesterday.
The group then allegedly fled on foot to nearby Village Drive.

Police alleged the father and son duo then chased the group down in their car, with the father allegedly purposely crashing into the group's getaway vehicle.
He also allegedly hit a motorbike.
The group then allegedly fled on foot again and were arrested by police soon after.
The 22-year-old man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his head.
Two men aged 18 and 19 were arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station, where they were charged with affray.

The 54-year-old allegedly rammed his car into the car the group had approached, damaging both vehicles and also a nearby motorcycle. Nine
He was also charged with affray.
All three were granted conditional bail and will appear in Burwood Local Court on December 10.
The 54-year-old was arrested at the scene and was taken to Auburn Police Station.
He was charged with predatory driving and was refused bail.
He will appear in Burwood Local Court today.
