Brazen ramraid caught on CCTV in Melbourne's inner-north

Police are appealing for witnesses following a ramraid in Melbourne’s inner-north.

CCTV footage released by police shows what they say are two men using a Mazda sedan to break down the front door of a clothing store on Elgin Street, Carlton, at around 4am yesterday.

The passenger can be seen getting out of the car and running inside while the driver casually parks and waits for his associate to return.

Police say the individual removed the cash register, containing a small amount of cash, along with shirts and suits.

Both men then took off in the car, heading east on Elgin Street.

No arrests have been made.
