Brandis, Dutton head to Washington

Border security and tackling extremism will be on the agenda when George Brandis and Peter Dutton visit Washington.
The attorney-general will meet his counterparts from the UK, Canada, New Zealand and the US, as well as hold individual meetings with the directors of the CIA, FBI, national intelligence and the National Counterterrorism Centre.
The immigration minister will attend a ministerial meeting to discuss better sharing of traveller information and refugee screening processes, as well as meet US homeland security and customs chiefs.

Senator Brandis and Mr Dutton were scheduled to leave for the US on Tuesday.
