Boy dies a week after Victorian accident

A Melbourne boy has died five days after a car accident that also injured three other children.

The 10-year-old died in the Royal Children's Hospital on Sunday, police said on Monday.

A 46-year-old Tarneit man has been charged over last Tuesday's crash at Truganina, on Melbourne's outskirts, that injured four children in total.

He was charged last week with conduct endangering life and dangerous driving causing serious injury.

The others hurt in the crash were a six-year-old girl, a four-year-old boy and a five-year-old boy.
