Bowen seeks to debate Morrison on budget

Chris Bowen has challenged Treasurer Scott Morrison to a debate during the election campaign.

The shadow treasurer said Labor was happy to put its budget priorities against those outlined by the coalition in Tuesday's budget.

"I will be debating the treasurer, if he turns up, in the election campaign - let's have the debate," Mr Bowen told parliament on Thursday.
