Mass brawl erupts between weapon-wielding youths in Melbourne CBD

A teenage boy is recovering after being injured in a massive brawl that erupted between weapon-wielding youths in Melbourne’s CBD.

The 16-year-old was injured in the fight that erupted near the entrance of Target on Bourke Street at 7.30pm last night. 

Shoppers and CBD workers were left shocked as the violent scene unfolded. 

Batons and sticks were produced during the fight, with police forced to use capsicum spray to break up the brawlers. 

No arrests have been made and police have not yet said what started the fight.
