Blind man attacked with knives in Sydney home invasion

A blind man has been attacked during a home invasion in Sydney's west overnight.

The 32-year-old was with family at a home on Boronia Street in South Granville at 10.15pm, when a man and a woman forced their way in and threatened them with knives.

The pair ransacked the house and fled with cash.

The victim was treated for cuts to his hands.

Police dogs were unable to catch the offenders, who remain on the run.
