Foreign Minister Julie Bishop says Australia will work with Germany to tackle the challenge of their own citizens becoming radicalised.
"Like Australia, Germany also has a number of citizens who have become radicalised, who have been attracted to the horrific ideology of ISIL," she said from Germany.
Both nations could share information, ideas, experiences and intelligence to defeat the scourge of terrorism, she said.
