Bishop in Laos for East Asian summit

The disputed South China Sea will be high on the agenda when Foreign Minister Julie Bishop attends the East Asian Summit foreign ministers' meeting in Laos.
Ms Bishop will also attend the ASEAN-Australia ministerial meeting and the ASEAN regional forum during her July 24-27 visit.
She will also undertake bi-lateral talks with several regional counterparts, including from India, Philippines and Indonesia, as well as meeting US Secretary of State John Kerry and Japanese foreign minister Fumio Kishida.
