Man seriously burnt in Sydney boat fire at Drummoyne
A man was seriously injured after his boat caught fire in a Sydney marina today.
Emergency services were called to Birkenhead Point Marina in Drummoyne shortly after 8.45am following reports of an explosion on a boat.
Three NSW Ambulance crews and a Careflight Chopper attended the scene to find a 41-year-old man suffering serious burns to his legs, arm and shoulder.

The man suffered burns to 30 percent of his body.
The man was treated on the scene and was surrounded by family, who were not onboard the boat at the time.
Paramedics rushed the man to Royal North Shore hospital where he was reported to be a serious but stable condition.
