Bindi Irwin pulls off edgy contemporary routine and rock-star style stage dive in Dancing with the Stars
Bindi Irwin has continued to wow fans on Dancing with the Stars this week, with a stage dive and an edgy contemporary routine featuring rope-dancing.
The 17-year-old Aussie celebrity used a rope, cube and light bulb as props in her latest routine, swinging the rope around her body and neck.
She and partner Derek Hough earlier performed a salsa routine set to Sia’s cover of You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile, before Bindi dove into the arms of the audience and crowd-surfed.
However, judge Julianne Hough told the pair the routine lacked the trademark “down and dirty moves” of salsa.
The crowd disagreed, responding to her comments with loud boos.
Bindi and Derek have built a large fan base over the course of the show, with fans referring to themselves as members of #TeamCrikey on social media.
