Bikies charged over fight, drugs found

Two bikies who allegedly bashed a teenager at a Wagga Wagga nightclub have been charged and police have discovered drugs in the home of one of the accused.

About six grams of what is believed to be cocaine, 95 pills suspected of being MDMA, 20 vials of steroids and 19 capsules of a "restricted pharmaceutical substance" were found in the Blacktown home of a 25-year-old Mongols bikie during a police raid last Friday.

The search comes after the man and another Mongols bikie, 28, were charged over the June 1 assault of a 19-year-old in Wagga Wagga.

Police say they expect to lay charges over the drugs but not necessarily against the two accused assailants.

Both men have been granted conditional bail and are due before Wagga Wagga local court in August.
