Bellyflopping farm worker kills piglets in pen

A sick farm worker has been videoed killing dozens of piglets by leaping onto them in a pen.

The Spanish teenager, identified only as DAA, crushed 19 to death, and a further 60 died later of their injuries.

He was jailed for 15 months for aggravated animal abuse, the BBC reports.

He and the colleague who filmed him diving into the pen three times were ordered to pay the farm in Huercal-Overa, Almeria, 60 euros for each pig.

The pigs were aged between 19 and 27 days old and were being transferred to a weaning room when the incident took place.

They can be seen desperately trying to get out of the way as the man bellyflops onto them.

The judge said DAA treated the pigs like a swimming pool.
