A Sydney beautician who had to undergo major spinal surgery after a workplace injury is taking legal action against the state's scandal-plagued public insurer.
The 50-year-old alleges her claims for compensation were repeatedly denied, while icare executives took big cash bonuses.
Katrina Darghie told 9News she was in pain, debt and struggling with depression after the injury.
