Beau Ryan strips for NRL Footy Show

Retired NRL player Beau Ryan has stayed true to his word and stripped down to the nude to host the Footy Show following New South Wales' win in the State Of Origin.

Ryan, who recently retired from football, made the audacious declaration after the Blues' win against Queensland in the brutal Game I of Origin at Suncorp Stadium three weeks ago.

"Well Australia, I made a promise and I'm going to deliver," Ryan said before going on last night's show.

"I said if NSW win the Origin series I'll host the NRL Footy Show naked, and that's what I'm going to do."

"As soon as they get the studio a little bit warmer, I'm going to head in."

Cheers erupted as Ryan, 29, walked into the Sydney studio wearing nothing but a cheeky grin.

Former Wests Tigers and Cronulla winger Ryan is a regular panellist on the Footy Show and retired earlier this month due to a persistent neck injury.
