Four-year-old batting prodigy Jack Kettleborough has been turning heads at the SCG this week, impressing some of the very best judges.

He has been delighting crowds after play with his batting demonstrations.

His dad, English umpire Richard Kettleborough, likes to spend his post-game evenings unwinding playing with his budding young cricket star.

“He just picked it up when I got home last year from the Twenty20 in Bangladesh,” Mr Kettleborough said.

“I came home and all of a sudden he’s wanting to play cricket every minute of the day.”

So impressive is Jack’s form he is even wowing Australian cricket greats such as Ian Chappell.

“This kid – he looks good,” Chappell said in the commentary box.
