Banker wins LNP Maranoa preselection

Warwick business identity David Littleproud has been endorsed to run as the Liberal National Party's candidate in the federal seat of Maranoa at the next election.

Mr Littleproud will replace veteran MP Bruce Scott, who is retiring from the safe southwest Queensland seat at the election after 25 years in parliament.

The regional banking manager and former Warwick Chamber of Commerce president was endorsed via a postal ballot of members.
