Bali Nine executions only a matter of time: Indonesian PM

Indonesian President Joko Widodo has re-stated his commitment to execute Bali Nine drug smugglers Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan saying "it's only a matter of time".

In an interview with Indonesian news agency Antara, Mr Joko said he would not interfere with outstanding legal appeals of the group awaiting the firing squad but confirmed the executions would take place on their conclusion.

Chan and Sukumaran, who remain in an isolated cell on Nusakambangan Island, have lodged a challenge with the Constitutional Court after several failed attempts to have their death sentences overturned.
