Axe attack at Sydney servo caught on CCTV

Video has emerged of the moment an axe-wielding woman attacked two customers at a Sydney service station.

The CCTV video, published by News Corp, shows a young blonde woman walking into the Enmore 7-Eleven with an axe about 2am Saturday.

Alleged victims Sharon Hacker and Benjamin Rimmer can be seen standing near the cash register.

Mr Rimmer is seen smiling and gesturing to someone off-camera as he waits to buy a meat pie.

The woman with the axe then appears in the footage, and speaks with Mr Rimmer.

Suddenly, she swings the axe and appears to bring it down on Mr Rimmer's head, and he falls to the ground inside the store.

Ms Hacker then appears to be struck in the back of the head, and falls at the entrance of the shop.

The woman is then seen walking out of the store, before both victims stand up from the blood-stained floor.

Yesterday, a 24-year-old woman was charged over the attack and denied bail to face court on Thursday.
