Do you have what it takes to tackle Australia’s hottest burger?
A stomach of steel is certainly required to eat what's being called Australia's hottest burger.
Now being sold at Burger Urge's Queensland and NSW stores, the so-called Double Decker Death Wish is so hot it must be cooked using goggles and gloves.
"We have to take special precautions when we prep it, that alone tells me someone's in for a treat," Burger Urge Molendinar manager, Dana Bradshaw told 9NEWS.
Loaded with fiery habaneros and ghost chillies, as well as a secret hot sauce, customers are even asked to sign a waiver before tackling the Double Decker Death Wish.
"It's legitimately the hottest burger in Australia. Those ghost chillies are no joke," Burger Urge Managing Director Sean Carthew said.
"It certainly separates the men from the boys," Ms Bradshaw added.
The Double Decker Death Wish is only sale until Friday, and is causing quite the stir on social media.
Burger Urge's Facebook post has been commented on 6.7k times, and it seems Aussies are up to the challenge.
"Ok Burger Urge, I just ate your death wish burger, sorry to say it wasn't that hot. I didn't even break a sweat," says one comment.
"I've been training my whole life for this moment," says another.
Although, some are still running scared.
"No way would I do this, my brother rubbed ghost chilli around the side of my glass last Christmas I took one little sip and I couldn't taste, I couldn't eat, my lips were numb and they swelled up for hours!"
