Australian arrested in Lebanon terror raid

An Australian has been arrested on suspicion of jihadi terrorist links in security raids by the Lebanese army.
Eleven people were arrested on Monday, including one Australian national, Lebanon's The Daily Star reported.
They are suspected by the Lebanon army of having links to terrorist groups and for residing in Lebanon without legal papers.

The crackdown targeted Beirut and the country's north, with the Australian arrested in the rural district of Koura.
Six Lebanese and four Syrian nationals were also rounded-up in the raids.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said it is seeking confirmation of the man's arrest.
