Australia condemns North Korea 'satellite'

The Australian government has condemned North Korea's most recent nuclear weapons test, calling the rogue nation a threat to world peace.

Foreign Minister Julie Bishop told reporters in Canberra the government joins the international community in condemning, "North Korea's provocative, dangerous and destabilising behaviour".

"North Korea continues to pose a threat to the region and the globe," she said.
