Aldi almond milk recalled over microbial contamination fears
A brand of almond milk sold at Aldi supermarkets is being recalled over fears of microbial contamination that could cause customers to become sick.
The one litre Inner Goodness UHT Almond Milk, sold exclusively at Aldi stores, has been identified as containing a potentially dangerous contamination.
The recall affects packaging with the use-by date of April 18, 2021.

Product Safety Australia said customers who believe they have purchased the milk with this use-by date to return it to their local Aldi for a full refund.
"Customers should not consume this product and should return it to any ALDI store for a refund of the purchase price," the recall states.
"Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice."

A similar recall also exists for the one litre variety of the Inner Goodness UHT Soy Milk carrying the best before date of March 12, 2021.
