Aust to have influence in China Bank: Robb

Trade Minister Andrew Robb believes a last-minute decision to sign on to a $100 billion China-led development bank won't diminish Australia's influence among 30 other possible founding members.

"We'll be enthusiastically embraced by the Chinese and others on the board," Mr Robb told ABC radio on Monday.

Signing up before the March 31 deadline allows Australia to participate as a prospective founding member in negotiations to set up the bank.
