Aust, Chinese soldiers train together
AAP
After surviving the Northern Territory bush, a group of Chinese and Australian soldiers are now started a fortnight of adventure training in the cooler clime of southern NSW.
Ten soldiers from each nation are trying their hand at kayaking, mountain biking, climbing, caving and roping in Exercise Pandaroo 16, which followed Exercise Kowari in the Top End.
"The exercise shows that despite differences between countries we can continue to work productively to promote mutual trust and understanding." Brigadier Damien Cantwell said in a statement.
