Aust 'at risk' if more troops sent: Pyne
AAP
Senior Liberal Christopher Pyne has warned Australia could be at risk if it were to stretch resources further by lifting its contribution in the Middle East.
Mr Pyne says Australia is already doing its bit in the fight against the Islamic State group as the second largest presence in Iraq, despite declining a US request for more troops.
"But we're not going to stretch our resources to the extent where we are at risk ourselves," he told the Nine Network on Friday.
