Police investigating after man's body found in park in Auburn

Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a park in Sydney's west this morning.

Emergency services were called to a park on Rawson Street in Auburn around 6:50am after reports a man was found unconscious.

Police officers who attended the call performed CPR on the man, but he could not be revived.

Police believe the man is aged in his mid-30s.

He has yet to be formally identified.

Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the man's death.
