Queensland man charged with attempted murder after woman stabbed

A man has been charged with attempted murder over the stabbing of a woman at a home south of Brisbane.

Police were called to a house in Waterford West, near Logan, last night to find a 30-year-old woman with a stab wound to her stomach.

She was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

A 29-year-old man will front Beenleigh Magistrate's court today charged with attempted murder.
