Millions of dollars worth of illegally grown tobacco have been seized during raids in northeast Victoria.

The Australian Taxation Office and Victoria Police on Tuesday found more than 123,000 tobacco seedlings growing in a large hot house at a property in Eurobin, with a potential excise value of $10 million.

It has been illegal to grow tobacco without a licence in Australia since 2006.
