An artist in Los Angeles has waded into the controversy surrounding the leaking of dozens of naked celebrity photos earlier this week by choosing to display the images in an art installation.

The Huffington Post reported that artist XVALA will feature the unedited images as part of his “long-awaited” exhibition at the Cory Allen Contemporary Art gallery in Florida.

XVALA’s exhibition, called ‘No Delete’, was already set to dive into the most intimate moments of the world’s best-known celebrities by featuring years’ worth of compromising photos.

“We share our secrets with technology and when we do, our privacy becomes accessible to others,” XVALA said in a statement.

Gallery founder Cory Allen said XVALA’s show is a “reflection of who we are today” and that all users of technology become “used” in the end.

Representatives for several of the celebrities caught up in this week’s nude photo scandal, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton, have threatened to take legal action on individuals found to be disseminating the stolen images.
