Teen charged after alleged spree of service station hold-ups in Sydney
A teenage boy has been charged after two thieves targeted four service stations in four hours in Sydney's west yesterday.
The brazen pair allegedly held up two service stations on the same road within 20 minutes, before torching their allegedly stolen getaway car.
Police will allege that just before 2am, two men in a white Honda CRV stopped at a service station on Flushcombe Road, Blacktown.

But the tables were quickly turned when the stoic employee locked the doors, trapping the would-be thief inside before his accomplice rammed the doors to free him.
They left empty-handed.
About 2.30am, officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command responded to reports of an armed robbery at a service station on Cabramatta Road, Bonnyrigg. It's alleged a man wearing a surgical mask and armed with a knife threatened the male attendant before stealing cash and fleeing in a white Honda CRV.
Soon after, about 5am, at a service station on Bungarribee Road, Doonside, a male entered the store and allegedly threatened an employee with a knife before fleeing on foot empty-handed.
Just before 5.20am, police were called to another armed robbery at a service station nearby on Bungarribee Road, Doonside, where a male allegedly threatened an employee with a knife before stealing cash and fleeing in a white Honda CRV.
About 6am police responded to reports of a car on fire on Hyland Road, Greystanes. The fire was extinguished, and checks revealed it was a Honda CRV.

NSW Police said a 16-year-old boy had been arrested at Concord Hospital where he was being treated for burns.
He has been charged with two counts of attempted robbery armed with an offensive weapon, being carried in a conveyance taken without consent, two counts of robbery armed with an offensive weapon, and destroying or damaging property in company using fire.
He has been refused bail and will appear at a bedside hearing today.
