ANZ outage resolved as online banking services return to millions of customers
ANZ's online banking has returned to normal service after an outage caused by a third party vendor left millions across the country without access.
The bank confirmed issues to app and internet banking were resolved from about 2.45pm - almost three hours after the outage began.
"We're currently investigating a technology issue relating to a third party vendor," an ANZ spokesperson said.

"This has affected customers accessing some systems including the ANZ App, Internet Banking and ANZ Transactive Global.
"The ANZ Plus app, Phone Banking, ATMs and EFTPOS facilities continued to be available during this time."
ANZ is continuing to investigate the cause of the outage.
"We continue our work to resolve any outstanding impacts as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience," the spokesperson added.

About 3000 customers reported an issue with their online banking services since around midday, according to Down Detector.
ANZ has said more than four million customers use its online banking app.
