Close your eyes and you could believe that Angelina Jordan Astar's smoky voice was produced by years of chain smoking, hard drinking and soulful singing.

But the singer who wowed judges on Norway's Got Talent is just seven years old.

She revealed a mouth of missing teeth when she performed 'Gloomy Sunday', the jazz standard made famous by Billie Holiday, in Oslo.

Astar's performance earned her a standing ovation from the Got Talent judges and the studio audience.

Mia Gundersen was brought to tears by Astar's singing, while fellow judge Omer Bhatti said the song gave him "goosebumps".

"I think you're an old soul who has lived many lives," Bhatti told the seven-year-old.

The judges unanimously agreed to send Astar, who has been singing since she was three, through to the next round of the TV talent contest.
