Search for offender behind 'traumatising' arson attack in Melbourne's west
Police are calling for help after a woman's car was set on fire in her driveway in a targeted attack in Melbourne's west.
The offender drove to the woman's home in McIntosh Road in Altona North about 11.45pm on August 8 in a dark-coloured sportscar, believed to be a Ford Focus Sport, with distinctive rims.
The person then got out of their car and poured what is believed to be accelerant over the woman's car in her driveway before using a lighter to set it on fire.

The car can be seen exploding into flames in CCTV footage released by police.
The person then drove off in a north-easterly direction towards The Circle.
Detective Senior Constable Brendan Bennett from Hobsons Bay CIU said police believe the attack was a targeted and isolated event.
He said it had been a "traumatising experience" for the woman.
