Alternative rock group OK Go shoots Upside Down & Inside Out music video in zero gravity

The masters of choreographed music videos, OK Go, have literally soared to new heights to make their newly released music video, shot entirely in zero gravity.

The three-minute clip for their new single ‘Upside Down & Inside Out’ was filmed aboard a reduced gravity aircraft at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, near Moscow.

OK Go posted the video on Facebook, and it has since been shared more than 230,000 times.

The film was made without special effects - putting the foursome’s dance moves to the test.

It features the group doing flips, bouncing off walls and flying around the plane, in a routine that took the band months to organise and three weeks to film.

Filming took place over 21 flights, which allowed for a total of about two hours and fifteen minutes spent in reduced gravity.
