Ballerina gifted first Allison Baden-Clay scholarship

Allison Baden-Clay's daughters saw her legacy live on today, with the gift of a lifetime awarded to an aspiring ballerina.

Hannah and Sarah Dickie have been through unspeakable torment. Their mother was murdered by their father, who is serving a life sentence in jail.

But today they had a spring in their step, as Taji Hennessy was awarded $5000 by the Allison Baden-Clay Foundation.

Baden-Clay's sister Vanessa Fowler said today was "an exciting day as we see my sister and her legacy live on".

"She had the talent, she had the poise, she had the dedication because she loved it so much."

The Dickies know the cost faced by young dancers like Taji for classes, costumes and travel.

Today they celebrated Taji's scholarship and their mother's passion for dance.
